Ryannah is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a behavioral therapist at Brightline. For the last 12 years she has worked with youth, adults, and families at local non-profits, both as a therapist and a clinical supervisor.
Ryannah lives in Grass Valley, California. She enjoys reading, making up new recipes, visiting the beach, hiking in nature, and exploring her newfound fascination with gardening.
Ryannah enjoys working with children, teens, and adults. Her therapeutic approach incorporates attachment and cognitive behavioral therapy. Attachment therapy allows for the exploration and repatterning of early experiences through early relationships. Cognitive behavioral therapy lends a framework to track thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Ryannah believes that with openness, support and dedication, everyone can transform their experience and live a life aligned with their desires.
Ryannah earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
The Fun Stuff
Random thing about you? If I was not a therapist I would train to become a cook, florist, or an interior decorator.
Funny family memory? My younger brother woke up one Easter and ate all the jelly beans from the Easter baskets. He had a huge sugar high for about three hours and then passed out.
Perfect Saturday? Sleep in, go on a hike, have an easy afternoon, and have friends over for dinner.
