Lina is a bilingual (Spanish/English) and bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, as well as a behavioral therapist at Brightline.
Lina lives in Alhambra, California, and enjoys reading, watching her children play sports, and Netflix.
With over nine years of extensive training in the field of mental health, Lina’s main focus is delivering culturally and linguistically sensitive trauma-informed and client-centered services, using evidence-based practices. Lina incorporates an empathic, practical, playful, gender affirming, and relational approach to psychotherapy.
Lina has a great deal of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with complex trauma, developmental disabilities, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, gender-diverse identities, and complex medical conditions.
As a diplomate of The Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Lina has additional training in delivering CBT to specialized populations.
Lina has a Master’s of Social Work from California State University in Los Angeles.
