Kristen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a behavioral therapist at Brightline.
Kristen lives in Tallahassee, Florida and enjoys going to Disney, using her Peloton, crocheting, and knitting.
Kristen is trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Her areas of interest include, but are not limited to, child and adolescent mental health, advocacy, and child welfare. Prior to joining Brightline, Kristen worked at Georgia Pines Community Service Board, providing therapy services to students in a school-based mental health program. She also has experience developing and facilitating youth development programs for at-risk youth.
Kristen enjoys working with children and adolescents because she’s able to provide an opportunity for healing and change that may continue into adulthood.
Kristen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services with a concentration in Youth and Family Studies from Indian River State College. She has a Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University.
