Kara lives in Stillwater, Oklahoma and enjoys coloring, playing Overcooked! 2 and Animal Crossing, her two French Bulldogs (Obi and Finn), and spending time with her family at Disney!
Kara has over five years of experience working with individuals, couples, and groups. She has offered support to clients with autism spectrum disorder, depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, and communication issues, and believes all humans possess the ability to make positive changes.
Kara’s therapeutic style is calm and relaxed with a sprinkling of humor. She believes a client should feel safe in the therapeutic atmosphere and strives to provide an area free from judgment.
Kara has a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Oklahoma State University.

Random thing about you? I have extra vertebrae in my spine.
Perfect Saturday? It’s fall, cool outside, and the windows are open. I’m snuggled up on the couch watching an Oklahoma State football game with my two pups, a blanket, and a warm bowl of soup.
Funny family memory? During COVID, we purchased a croquet set. Once we started playing, the croquet mallets started breaking left and right even though we were trying to be gentle. We eventually had to give up trying to use the mallets because they’d all snapped.
