Ayana is a Board Certified National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, Certified Anger Management Specialist, and a behavioral therapist at Brightline.
Ayana lives in Atlanta and enjoys cooking with her son, vacationing, painting, reading, and listening to audiobooks.
Ayana has over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She has worked with children, adolescents, teenagers, young adults, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including clients’ homes, schools, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and in an outpatient clinic.
Ayana specializes in individual, couples, and family therapy; parent coaching; and clinical supervision. Her areas of expertise include mood, behavior, and adjustment disorders; anxiety; anger management; family systems; trauma; relationship issues; and parenting skills.
Ayana uses a solution-focused, person-centered approach in her practice. She is passionate about being a change creator and transformational leader. Ayana is also a JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) educator.
Ayana has a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University.
