Alexandra Boeving Allen, PhD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist & VP of Clinical Strategy
Alex is a licensed clinical child psychologist and Brightline’s Vice President of Clinical Strategy. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their families—from families coping with childhood chronic illness to those navigating complex behavioral health needs.
As the mother of two, Alex has seen firsthand how important behavioral health and well-being is for the whole family. She and her family live in Napa Valley, CA, where they enjoy hiking with their dogs, family bike rides, and cooking adventurous meals.
Alex has a private practice and was previously the director of psychosocial services in Oncology at Wake Forest University Medical Center/Brenner Children’s Hospital.
Alex completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Yale School of Public Health and has worked domestically and internationally with children and families.
